[There will most likely be some weeks where the body will be difficult to find. This is not one of them.

Anyone emerging from the main stairs to the third floor at this time will see Kouha Ren's body propped up on one of the seats in the terrace. There's no chance at all that someone might mistake him as just sitting down, thanks to the enormous amount of blood staining his torso.]

[In the foyer, the grandfather clock begins to chime. The tone is far deeper than the regular hourly chime, and it chimes thirteen times.

The players have discovered the body of Kouha Ren. The investigation of his death has begun.]

[Parlor Doorway - 8:20]

[When the clock starts chiming more than nine times, Austria raises an eyebrow.] It can't possibly be that late already.

[Hearing it chime thirteen times though...]

Is it broken or... [Is this what the rule book meant about the clock chiming over bodies?]

[ You know, from a distance, Yuyuko really does look like something out of a spooky movie. What with the skin as white as a sheet and red eyes...which, right now, is nicely accented by her hands completely drenched in blood. She thinks she's investigated Kouha's body enough by this point, tyvm.

She's heading from the direction of the third floor staircase, seemingly intending to go to the Melusine wings, but if she seems anyone on her way there, she'll call them over. ]

There's...a body.

[Rapping at the windows, crying at the locks, etc--Feferi can be found darting all around the area, knocking on wing doors and popping into any room she has access to, with the same announcement.]

Guys! Kouha's been killed! Hey!

[ There's too many people looking at the dead body, so Norway is mostly just trying to get away in his own wing. It is suspiciously close to the wings, though, so he'll take the chance to look for any clues in the hall. ]

[So much for hoping no one would go through with it--there's more than enough people checking out the body itself, so Iceland opts to check out the area around the body. The theatre is first--he opens the door and starts looking around for any signs of blood, abandoned knives, or other suspicious things.]

[Austria will try searching the Tower. She'll begin ascending the staircase to the tower observatory on her way to the tower top.

With that amount of blood, if they were in here she imagines they must have dripped at least a little bit.]

[A certain spirit medium (possibly with antenna-headed defense attorney in tow), is trying to get into the Dragon Wing, knocking loudly if the door isn't open]

[And checking it out if it is open]

There had better not be any princesses or gold locked up in here!

[At Peko's suggestion, Kuzuryuu went straight past the body to check out the Dragon Wing's bathroom, taking note of anything that might be out of place in the hall itself while he's at it.]

[Anything of note in here?]

[Maybe it was one of the knives provided in the rooms, maybe it was something else. Either way, Pekoyama's checking out the kitchen, opening the drawers to see if anything looks awfully out of place. Knives and suchlike.

Also the sink. A bloody murder generally means a bloody murderer. While she's here on the first floor, might as well see if the murderer somehow decided to go back down to the first floor to clean up and return their weapon. It's a long shot, but, well, she's here.]

[After alerting everyone, Feferi has decided to search outside. Since it's getting dark, it would definitely be possible to hide out here or drop something out here, right? She'll check around the immediate castle perimeter first, especially the area beneath the murder scene and the wings closest to it.]

( Spain assumes the killer was male because there's no way one of the women here would kill a unicorn Kouha. So he decides to check out the game parlour. A room that only (about) half the castle can access right now seems like a good place to hide something too.

Is there anything noticeably out of place at first glance? )

[It doesn't occur to Chizuru to check the bedrooms in the Dragon Wing until much later - which, of course, means she'll have to be tracking people down; the only bedroom she can get into is her own, after all. She's rushing around everywhere, looking for the others residing in Dragon Wing as well as anyone who might know where to find someone who lives there.

Basically, if she spots you at any point while on the move, she'll probably call out to you.]

Um, excuse me...!

[ Ian has been left alone to watch over the kitchen, so he needs to busy himself with some more investigation. He'll look over the pantry and other utensils, and even check around in the fireplace and oven--anything that could be used to store clues. ]

8:30, terrace

[ Once everyone's gotten a look at Kouha, Kougyoku comes running, shoving anyone aside if need be. ]

Kouha! [ Although she's only known him for less than a week, she feels as if she knew him more than anyone in the castle. So, she mourns his death. So, she holds him in her arms. So, she cries. ] Kouha, Kouha... I told you to be safe...

[ If anyone wants to take a look at the body, approach Kougyoku with caution. ]

9:20, terrace

[ She's still at the terrace next to Kouha's body. She heard of bloodstains they found on the west hallway near the Dragon Wing entrance. That only means he was stabbed there... He was probably looking for her. It's a small clue, but in her present state of mind, Kougyoku doesn't feel like investigating his death herself. She should have been by his side, and so she is.

She's calmed down and seems to be open to helping with the investigation, so if anyone wants to talk to her, now's your chance. ]

[Ryou's more hiding than really helping the investigation at this point. He's been doing that pretty much the entire time; just keeping to himself and letting the situation sink in.

But while he's down here, he'll look around the floor and in some of the boxes to see if there's anything suspicious. He has to do something, after all...
