Kouha's dead! The body's up on the third floor. [She pauses in her running around to make sure Kaoru understands the message she's imparting.]

[souredsweet]

Dead—? [it seems like realization dawns on him, at least. he raises a hand to his mouth.]

What... what do we do? Are you sure that he's dead?

[wearesuperior]

[Standing inside the Phoenix Wing behind him, having just left her own room.]

Did someone just- Kaoru, what was that I heard just now?

[souredsweet]

[he turns to face Maribelle, face paler than usual.]

It... was Kouha. Someone has killed Ren-san.

[tyrian]

He's definitely dead. I checked! [Poked him and stuff...] It looked like he got stabbed.

[wearesuperior]

[Looks back and forth between them.] Ren-! [But not Kougyoku. Not that she's happy about anyone dying...] Any sign of the cur who did it?

[mightiswright]

[ Phoenix is also nearby, having been headed to his room after dinner. ]

They wouldn't have lingered at the crime scene. Looks like our discussion turned out to be pointless speculation after all.

Yeah, there wasn't anyone covered in blood or anything. Unless they're in one of the baths right now? [Should they check the dragon wing and melusine wing bathrooms?]

[wearesuperior]

I really thought we would last longer than a few days before dissolving into madness. [Gripping her parasol tightly.] Cowardly beasts... We should check everyone for blood or injuries before they have a chance to hide the evidence.

[mightiswright]

We don't know for sure what the time of death was. They might have already had time to hide it. [ ... Maybe that was a little overly pessimistic. ]

But checking bathrooms would be a start. There's no way someone could have stabbed someone without getting any blood on them. [ His tone is thoughtful but straightforward, and wastes no time in lamenting the turn of events. It's a terrible thing, but what's important now is to catch the killer. ]

[WELL THEY'RE ALIVE unlike foolish Kouha who was not locked up in his room...]

You seem to make friends so easily, Kaoru... Well, it seems unlikely he did anything to draw the brute's eye. He may very well have just been an easy victim. [Maribelle is good at comforting people.] Terrible, vile thing...

We'll find them. It'll be impossible to hide in a mansion of this size.
