Jun. 16th, 2014 08:52 pmSecond star to the right. His life got flip-turned upside down. (Flipping the second portrait from the right in the second floor hallway upside down will cause it to swing open, revealing a long tunnel that emerges in the middle of the woods. From there, it's around a ten-minute walk away to the baths. However, the painting must stay turned upside down until the door closes, which means that it has to be turned back right-side up by hand later.)
Reading is the foundation of society. Unfortunately, the weight of the books has knocked that foundation loose. (Underneath a bookshelf in the reading room is loose floorboard hiding a crawlspace. From there, you can come out through a ceiling panel above the bar or the kitchen. However, the space is very narrow and dusty, so you'll get dirty if you use it.)
And Then There Were None On The Orient Express. (If someone pulls out the copies of And Then There Were None and Murder On The Orient Express simultaneously in the bookshelf in the parlor, a trapdoor will open. From there, you can drop into a cell in the dungeons that holds a pair of shackles, a bonetooth saw, a large and heavy hammer, and thumbscrews. However, the door to the cell is locked from the inside, so the only way out is to find a way to climb back up through the trap door.)
A string walked into a bar, hopped on the barstool, and said, “Bartender, gimme a beer.” The bartender said, “I’m sorry, sir, we don’t serve strings here.”
Disappointed, the string walked back outside. Then he had an idea. He had a passerby tie him up into a bow and frazzle his ends. Then he went back into the bar, and climbed up on the barstool. “Bartender, gimme a beer!” he said loudly.
The bartender looked him over critically, and finally yelled, “Hey, aren’t you that string that was in here a few minutes ago?”
The string replied coolly, “Nope, I’m a frayed knot.” (Pushing one of the knots on the wall behind the bar will open a passageway that leads to the garage.)
It might have taken Phileas Fogg eighty days to go around the world, but twenty minutes should do just fine for you. (Spinning the globe in the study for twenty minutes will reveal a hidden room with a stairwell going straight up. At the top of the stairs is a trapdoor that seems to lead into the museum, but it's locked.)
Are you thirsty? You sound a little horse. (Emptying Ciel's trough of water will unlock a passageway in the stables that emerges in the maze.)
I can tell you're lion to me! I want the tooth, the whole tooth, and nothing but the tooth! (Pulling one of the fangs in the lion's head in the game parlour will open up a panel in the ceiling and drop down a rope ladder. From there, you can go through a small crawlspace and come out in the terrace. The ladder's pretty dusty though, so it'll drop dust onto the ground when it falls.)
