[And he is going to voice this, now that everyone is over Spain.]
Though you may both disdain her reasons, I do believe that her death will teach them a lesson. A lesson that is sorely needed.
no subject
[HE'S ALSO NOT THAT OVER SPAIN. but he does, at least, manage to keep a lid on his baby tantrum this time, simply folding his arms over his chest.]
The lesson that they can't just sit around doing nothing?
no subject
[matching Kaoru in that folding arms over chest pose YEAH SO...OVER HAVING TO WATCH SPAIN DIE SLOWLY...]
If they decide that the lesson is that they need to keep murdering to protect the designated killers who have to kill anyway but who cares, someone's life is totally worth staying in this shitty castle for another week while the incentives just get worse and the producers sip margaritas because everything is going to plan, then I'm just going to toss everyone off the tower myself.
no subject
[He's a little offended by that, actually. I can cross-arms too.]
So, are they to cast off their lives, sitting and waiting in hopes others will make the needed sacrifice? No, she was wrong, but they cannot know the structure of this game.
Though...it should not have been Spain [Well actually no he even thinks her reasoning was okay there] to do nothing, to simply wait on false hope, is to abandon living itself. If you despise that, you despise me, as well. And now they will never again content to simply wait and pray for a week without kill, nor should they. Their plans must change.
They simply need direction, to understand the weaknesses to exploit.

I thought a week without a kill is what we were gunning for, though it's going to be difficult with the killers still around. Unless you've come up with a better plan in the interim...?
no subject
It wouldn't have been false hope if the designated killers made the decision not to act! But it has to be their choice. All Austria did was be arrogant enough to think she could somehow make it for them or prevent them from killing.
I'm with you on the fact that their plan to hope for the best wouldn't have worked at all, but hers wasn't exactly any better. And let me tell you, this week would have been one of the best chances they had to end it. With the incentive for next week...all I can say is that there's no way we're going home early on this one.
no subject
They wouldn't have made the decision not to act without her sacrifice. Not a one of them. But now...
We will inform them how the game is meant to end, and let them destroy it. They will do it, now.
no subject
THAT SAID, he arches a brow a little, since he doesn't disagree with that. he definitely thinks that the killers would need to be, uh. killed, before a week without murder could be achieved.]
Oh? Tell them that she's meant to be found and executed, you mean? [he uncrosses his arms and folds his hands neatly at his waist, leveling Stiles a glance after that.] What's the incentive?
no subject
[scowling] It's the hostages again. Except this time, if no one kills, all of them will be executed.
no subject
[He sort of visibly looks troubled at that. The reason why isn't really surprising; Nanami's hostage was one of the same hostages used during their season, the one who no one ever claimed. But...he doesn't say anything about it.]
I do think so. For each of them to die in futility, one by one, only for Nanami to be made into the season's villain...they won't allow it. Their loyalty to one another has been the one consistent code they've abided by.
no subject
Considering the fuss people put up when Len was reused, I wonder how upset they're going to be this time. [as for the suggestion:]
Their loyalty is all well and good, but what do you think they could do about it? Like Stiles said, killing her in any way would end the game on the producers terms.
no subject
[anyway he can tell the incentive is bothering Gundam and it's bothering him too, but he'll try to pretend like he hasn't already been thinking of plans to rescue the hostages] Right. And as for not killing...like I said, this really isn't the week to do it in. I actually hope they don't.
no subject
I have faith in them. They needed to be woken, and to stop living in their delusions. They will find a plan. Nanami Chiaki...what an unsatisfying villain.
no subject
[he also is nowhere near as optimistic as Gundam is about this, but that's primarily because he's still buttmad that Spain died for these DKs and he doesn't think he could have anything like faith in any of them at this point.]
...Then I guess all that we can do is give them the end that's in store for Nanami and see what they do with it.
[boy is he gonna regret this when Chizuru turns up dead!!]
no subject
We knew from the start this would be decided by what the players of this round do. We can push them towards it, but...they have to make the choices on their own in the end. [raises an eyebrow] Sure you guys don't want to hightail it out of here while we still can? Spain's probably too busy making out with Austria in the graveyard to care.
no subject
I can't abscond when my great and terrible kingdom only grows ever vaster!
no subject
AS FOR THAT, it looks like he's giving it some genuine consideration even though he knows it's a joke and is (mostly) joking in turn.]
This is probably our last chance to back out, but making Gundam abandon his fat woodland creatures would be a tragedy. ...Granted, it'll also be a tragedy when we succeed and end up having to babysit twenty-seven extra idiots indefinitely.
no subject
[tragic sigh] Well I guess if you two are staying, I can't leave either while you're still bringing halfway decent food to me. And we'll make Susan do it. She's a schoolteacher, I bet she'll love it. She totally owes us forever for not having to be here and deal with these players anyway.
no subject
[Is he joking? Maybe. It's hard to tell.]
no subject
Can we? They'll be so busy trying to find food that they won't be able to get in our hair while we're actually, you know... working. [is this what being a parent feels like????] As great as Susan is with whining children, we do need her for more important things. Though I suppose she could shepherd them away if we ever have a violent task to accomplish, since I don't particularly feel like dealing with one of them throwing themselves in front of a member of the production crew screaming about killing.
no subject
No, I need Susan for those, I've been so deprived without her here that I'm gonna cave in and buy all those What Would Susan Do bracelets for everyone here. That can be their prizes next week, it'll be more useful than anything else they've gotten.
