the theatre

You awaken in a darkened theatre.
In front of you is an enormous cinema screen. On it plays everything that's currently happening in the mansion, accompanied by appropriate sound effects and background instrumentals when fitting. The seat you're sitting on is large and plush, and while there's many of them, there's enough room in the theatre for you to fully recline the seat into a comfortable bed if you wish. Under each seat is a sleeping mask and noise-cancelling headphones, in case you'd like to take a break from watching the show.
Follow the stairs up and you'll reach what should be the projection room. There are no projectors in here, however; it is simply a large and well-lit room above the main seating area, and a good place to hang out with your fellow eliminated contestants if shouting at each other across the aisles proves too much to handle.
If you leave the theatre through the door in the back, you'll find yourself in a hall. On one end is a concession stand. It's stocked with standard movie snacks - popcorn, candy and the like - but if you're feeling the urge for something else, you'll be able to find it stocked somewhere in the back. On the other end is a table with thirty wrapped bags and a placard reading 'A star for our stars! Please accept these lovely giftbags as a token of appreciation for your hard work, sponsored by [illegible smudge]'. Each bag has a tag bearing the name of someone in the mansion; you will only be able to open the bag with your name on it. As soon as you open it, any memories that have been taken from you, including those of the other people in the mansion that you may have forgotten, will be returned in their entirety. Within the bag are also objects from your home that you may want for your stay here, though you will find no weapons.
There are no other doors in the hall save for the one leading back into the theatre room. There are also no windows; it is impossible to tell where you are and what is going on in the outside world. Any attempts to break out will fail. So in the meantime, why not sit back and enjoy the show?
Oh, and one more thing. At midnight following each execution, once all those who've died that week have woken up, a video will begin to play on screen.

I have to exist there in some capacity if she can sully my language with her mouth.
[It'd make him feel better.]

I can understand why you're angry, but if there's anything to take away from this it's that nothing good comes of revenge.

Pisses me off you know, that I died over something so pointless. A three minute conversation with me and it all could have been avoided. You think Lithuania's the mastermind? Fine, I'll hear you out. I could have explained why it was so wrong and how I knew it was a waste.
For all her attempts at wanting to be my "friend" she didn't even respect me enough to give me that opportunity.

Perhaps it was a direct order from the mastermind. The game seems to be setting it up to make it look like Lithuania is the mastermind but both you and I know that isn't true.
Not that being used as a set-up is nice either...
At the very least parallel you should trash her palace.

It's probably already trashed. [Poland finds throwing the well-being of her entire country away for something like finding the mastermind incredibly offensive... as opposed to something noble.
If he had to die, clues or not, she could have at least tried to have gotten away with it for the sake of her people.]

S-Speaking of which, did you ever get any leads to their identity?
no subject
If it wasn't Sonia-- [Which Susan actually convinced him it wasn't, shortly before he died.] --then my next guess was Marlow. Maybe Alice.

Not to mention, when outsiders were brought in as incentive... She could have easily set it up so her person was chosen and then acted like it was someone close when it was probably some stranger.
I'm not sure about Alice, I don't know her that well but perhaps...
[Just anyone but Lithuania basically]

No one was ever going to let us actually utilize the medical kit to save someone's life. Why not pick something that would be helpful, as opposed to only looking helpful?
So between her and suspecting that Sonia was lying about not passing trivia-- [Guess who was right about that too.] I just kept that I won quiet.
Alice I don't know that well, but I thought it was weird she's managed to last this long after ranking so low all the time and having such an easy way to die with that bracelet of hers. She seems open with Annie though and seemed genuinely betrayed by Spain... so I thought she was less likely.

That is true though, if she was really after justice then wouldn't something like a fingerprinting or poison detection kit be better? Maybe that's the kind of clue they need...
no subject
If not poison, then she wanted me to pick the sword so I could run her through.
no subject
Honestly there were so many extra prizes being handed out in secret I don't know who has what.
Why was she getting you to pick those kinds of things?
no subject
Probably to make things more interesting. Can you imagine the blow out from someone either finding a sword or set of poisons in my room? While Marlow provides her cute little medical kit for everyone?
Or getting me sucked out of the game completely with a smoking room sentencing for actually attacking Doris?
[And given Poland's personality, do you have any idea how hard it was to resist the idea of throwing game rules to the wind and launching an armed rebellion of his own?]
no subject
Are you saying that there was actually a plan to murder her?
[Poland that's important!]
no subject
She was just pitching the idea to Sonia and I and Sonia wussed out immediately but.
[Oh... maybe he should have mentioned this to someone... aside from just writing it down in his notebook in a language that only one other person still alive in the house can read...]
no subject
And I take it she had no plans to act on it herself...
no subject
So we dropped it and we each ended up doing our own thing...
