the theatre

You awaken in a darkened theatre.
In front of you is an enormous cinema screen. On it plays everything that's currently happening in the mansion, accompanied by appropriate sound effects and background instrumentals when fitting. The seat you're sitting on is large and plush, and while there's many of them, there's enough room in the theatre for you to fully recline the seat into a comfortable bed if you wish. Under each seat is a sleeping mask and noise-cancelling headphones, in case you'd like to take a break from watching the show.
Follow the stairs up and you'll reach what should be the projection room. There are no projectors in here, however; it is simply a large and well-lit room above the main seating area, and a good place to hang out with your fellow eliminated contestants if shouting at each other across the aisles proves too much to handle.
If you leave the theatre through the door in the back, you'll find yourself in a hall. On one end is a concession stand. It's stocked with standard movie snacks - popcorn, candy and the like - but if you're feeling the urge for something else, you'll be able to find it stocked somewhere in the back. On the other end is a table with thirty wrapped bags and a placard reading 'A star for our stars! Please accept these lovely giftbags as a token of appreciation for your hard work, sponsored by [illegible smudge]'. Each bag has a tag bearing the name of someone in the mansion; you will only be able to open the bag with your name on it. As soon as you open it, any memories that have been taken from you, including those of the other people in the mansion that you may have forgotten, will be returned in their entirety. Within the bag are also objects from your home that you may want for your stay here, though you will find no weapons.
There are no other doors in the hall save for the one leading back into the theatre room. There are also no windows; it is impossible to tell where you are and what is going on in the outside world. Any attempts to break out will fail. So in the meantime, why not sit back and enjoy the show?
Oh, and one more thing. At midnight following each execution, once all those who've died that week have woken up, a video will begin to play on screen.

I want to explain... But I...
[ The most terrible thing of all... is that she cannot. Where there used to be a significant amount of information relating to the reasons for Poland's death in her head... there is now a black hole. ]
I cannot remember.
[ And the only logical conclusion to draw from that is... It must have everything to do with the mastermind. ]

You know what sucks?
I never liked you. I had no idea why. There was just something about you that made me uncomfortable.
Everyone else seemed to adore you though, I must have been crazy.

If you are making an implication that I chose to target you based on the fact that you were so utterly mean to me for no reason, without provocation, and only showed me kindness when I had something you wanted...
[ She looks troubled; sad, even. ]
No. That was not the reason. I am not so petty as that. Although I cannot remember how, I just know that it was your death which held the highest probability of leading the others to the truth. That is... the only reason why. I cannot say if it was right, but it was all that I could do. And... it makes perfect sense... if the mastermind is who I believe it to be, if I trust my own actions...
1/2
And no. I don't think you're that petty as to target me like that. Don't insult me.

He slams his fist against the wall.]
I was not a tool to use at your discretion!

[ She looks terribly sad at that. ]
I think... it is Lithuania. [ It seems strange, that all of this hatred she feels should be directed at someone so... innocuous. She cannot link up those feelings of the person she cannot remember with Lithuania. But she must trust her actions. ] The person who threatened us, who began all of this, who was complicit in every death... Who held the reins of this game. To stop that person... I had to attempt to blend in with the rules... And so I chose a person that would be easily linked to them... And because it was you, it could only be Lithuania.
I gave my country. All of it. My parents, my people- everything. [ She is not saying this for sympathy; she is just making the facts clear. ] Their welfare was threatened against me at the start of this game. They are gone now, because I could not bring myself to lie. We played for different stakes than the rest of you. Your people... they will be fine. Mine have all been killed, and my country up in flames. I committed this atrocity against you knowing exactly what would happen. But I had no choice.
I ask not your forgiveness. But somehow... I do not think anything I might say to you would be sufficient. So perhaps you waste your time here with me... Just as I am wasting my breath.

[Poland stares at her for the longest time.]

It's not Lithuania!

I do not... want it to be him. I do not want it to be anyone. But it is... the only thing that makes sense, now...
[ And then she thinks: What sort of pain would she be in now, were their positions reversed? If it were Poland, telling her that he believed it to be Gundam, and that was why she was killed? Between the anguish and the heartbreak, she would not know how to feel. It would be a betrayal of the deepest kind... ]
I hope I am wrong. More than that, I shall never forgive myself for what I did to you. The fact that I was forced is no excuse.
[ She drops to her knees. She bows her head. It is a humiliating gesture for one of her ranking... But then again, she no longer has a homeland to be ranked within. She is nothing now, and so it fits. ]
So, therefore... Whatever you see fit... I shall respect it. And... If there is a way out... Be it through May's offer to me, or otherwise... I offer my place to you.

You threw your life away. You threw my life away. And if your "clues" are taken seriously you threw Lithuania's life away along with everyone else's who wastes their time on him while the real mastermind gets away!
I don't want your place!

[ And if it's not, well... Then she truly made an error beyond all comprehensible repair. She just has to hope, desperately hope, that that is not the case. And yet, the other option- Lithuania being the mastermind- is just as horrible. There is no winning in this situation. ]
I... cannot respect that. Should May come to make her decision... It is you that deserves to return to the living. I am not changing my mind on that matter.

[Poland tugs at his hair, frustrated beyond all comprehension. No one could fake the things Poland saw from Lithuania. Especially not Lithuania.
Everything he'd done had been in vain and now he couldn't help anyone at all.]
...You doomed everyone.

[ She cannot say anything to that. She does strongly believe it is Lithuania, but she won't take away Poland's right to deny it. He's not wrong to deny it. If she were in his spot, she would be doing the same thing, staunchly refusing to believe it. And so she says nothing at all on that point. ]
We shall see.
