Yeah, there wasn't anyone covered in blood or anything. Unless they're in one of the baths right now? [Should they check the dragon wing and melusine wing bathrooms?]

[wearesuperior]

I really thought we would last longer than a few days before dissolving into madness. [Gripping her parasol tightly.] Cowardly beasts... We should check everyone for blood or injuries before they have a chance to hide the evidence.

[mightiswright]

We don't know for sure what the time of death was. They might have already had time to hide it. [ ... Maybe that was a little overly pessimistic. ]

But checking bathrooms would be a start. There's no way someone could have stabbed someone without getting any blood on them. [ His tone is thoughtful but straightforward, and wastes no time in lamenting the turn of events. It's a terrible thing, but what's important now is to catch the killer. ]

Kouha was at dinner, and the body was warm and bleeding when I saw it. [So it can't have been too long. Also, Feferi obviously poked it.] I can check the bathroom in the melusine wing.

[Frowns up at Phoenix. Killer on the loose and unshaven hobo who does not look half as respectable without a suit and a mask.] I assure you, sir, I am not as defenceless as I may appear. [YES YOU ARE, MARIBELLE.]

But very well, if you insist. [Spins on her heel and strides down the wing to their bathroom then.]

I didn't mean it like that. [ Profiling alert!!

[Maribelle will crouch down to examine the floor closely for any sign of blood, glancing up at Phoenix at regular intervals.]

Certainly I'm worried. [Sighs in frustration and straightens up. Nothing. Though, considering the limited number of people who have access to this bathroom, maybe that should be a relief.] There is a crazed murderer in our midst.

[mightiswright]

I'd tell you it's not me, but you would be right not to trust my word. [ Master of... not asserting his innocence?? ] The killer today is one of us, and a killer tomorrow or the day after that could be any one of us.

[ He'll straighten up as well, already thinking of the next place to check. Sadly, this doesn't prove or disprove anything about the killer's identity, other than that he/she didn't clean themselves up in their bathroom. ] We should check the victim's room too. There might be a clue in there.

You could at least try to defend yourself. I thought that was your former profession? [Seriously, accepting that you're suspicious does not make you less suspicious.] I am hoping we can nip this killing in the bud and not continue the trend.

[Leaving the bathroom then.] I'm afraid I don't know which wing he was staying in, you shall half to ask someone else.
