[Let's just make a note now to never do this again in the future. From now on, girls search girls' rooms and boys search boys' rooms.]

What're you thanking me for it's just... [Oh shit. SHE'S SEEN THAT HE'S CAPABLE OF GIVING A SHIT. SHE'S SEEN TOO MUCH.] A-anyway it's just not right for me go through certain things in here. C'mon, if you still want to you can check my room.

[He's a boy so it's not...quite as awkward if she checks his stuff. But still sort of awkward.]

I'll just... um, I'll take a look for anything out of place. One of the men can take a closer look at it later.

[She smiles a little... and off they go to his room! This is less awkward for her because she's used to cleaning up after samurai and she has to go into their rooms at times for that... but, she doesn't want to snoop.

So, when they reach his room, she'll just make a few cursory glances and look for anything obvious.]

Alright.

[Perhaps surprisingly, Kuzuryuu's room is nearly as tidy as Chizuru's. He doesn't go as far as to dust everything, but everything is neatly put away and kept in perfect order. Which...you probably wouldn't expect of a sixteen year old boy but apparently mister hardcore gangster has something of a neat streak to him.]

[There's no blood anywhere or anything else that immediately jumps out as suspicious. Though if she checks his desk drawers, she'll notice that, of the four items they were provided with, only the gun remains.]

[...she's actually mildly surprised. He's much neater than many of the men in their mid-to-late twenties that she knows.

She takes her cue from him, checking pretty much the same things he did - she looks over to him with mild surprise when she notes the missing items.]

...um... are you carrying some of the things they gave us with you, right now?

Of course I am.

[He pulls the bottle of chloroform and handkerchief out of his pants pocket before pulling back the left side of his jacket to reveal the knife strapped inside. At least the bottle looks full and the knife looks about as unused as a knife can look.]

[...yeah this really shouldn't come as a surprise. It really, really shouldn't.]

[Well, that's all accounted for. Chizuru nods after a moment and steps back.]

Thank you for letting me look. Um... I'll leave your room now.

Mmm. Let me know what you find out about the other girls' rooms. If you can even find them...wouldn't be surprised if Nanami is fucking asleep somewhere and missed this whole damn thing.
